Pre-natal and Post-natal yoga

Our Pre-natal and Post-natal Capsule is specially designed keeping in mind the necessary changes that occur in an expectant mother's body at different stages, before and after pregnancy. These classes are gentle, and greatly benefit the mother and the baby.

These capsules work at three levels - preparing the body for pregnancy, ensuring comfortable pregnancy and labour, and lastly, recovery after giving birth.

The sessions will help you strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation and the functioning of the internal organs, as well as, relieve you from mental and muscular tension. Apart from this, common discomforts associated with pregnancy, like, morning sickness, mood swings, constipation, back pain and varicose veins will be eased.

Our experienced & trained set of female Specialists very well understands the body at different trimesters of pregnancy. Classes are safe and suitable for women of all fitness levels, even if they have never done yoga before.

We pay a lot of attention to stretching and breathing in our pre-natal yoga classes. Stretching improves circulation and relieves pain. Breathing calms the nerves and helps the mother gain control over her breathing, which would help ease labour.

Muscle-strengthening postures are an equally important part of our classes. Ligaments around the joints tend to become soft during pregnancy, hence it is very essential to do some mild strength-building asanas.

I want to lose weight. I find stretching classes unproductive.

Becoming flexible will actually help you lose weight. Flexibility will improve the quality of your workout and will make you get rid of fat faster. Besides, stretching also allows muscle-recovery and repair to prepare you for more intense workouts.

I got muscle pain after my first class. What should I do?

It is normal to get muscle soreness if you are not physically active and attend your first session with us. It only means you have worked on muscles that you have not used before. DO NOT miss your next class! Go slow for the next 3-4 sessions till the pain goes, and start pushing yourself a bit further after that.

I find the classes too vigorous. What should I do?

Our fitness capsules are designed to transform you completely. The classes, although dynamic, will be completely safe and gentle on your joints. Your trainer, or Specialist, as we call them, will encourage you to move at your own pace initially. You will always go home feeling good. Once our yoga becomes a part of your system, you will see yourself changing very fast!

Do I have to bring my own yoga mat to class?

You will find mats in the studio, which are cleaned after every class. Still, you are free to get your own mats to class.
